FIRST PRACTICE FOR 2006-2007
Sunday, October 15 marked the first full practice of the year. It was open to Fast Break Club members, who turned out in force. Some faithful FBCers staffed tables to pass out official FBC shirts and accessories, and to sign up new recruits. The rest of us got our first look at the 2006-2007 team, including the fabulous four freshmen. The team did some warmups, drilled on some plays, and engaged in spirited scrimmages. Tara introduced this year's coaches and support staff, and then said a few words about each of the fourteen members of this year's squad. Bring on the season!

Article by Dave Cortesi and Don Anderson
Photos by Don Anderson and Dave Cortesi

Based on the Pro-Am, Tara and Amy are going to have the very pleasant dilemma of trying to figure out how to get all the available talent onto the floor. (More ...)

the team in the first half and finishing with
22 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 blocked shots.
